Hyundai delivered the Korean rendition of the Accent (RB arrangement) in November 2010. The new model is offered with a similar 1.6-liter motor and 6-speed programmed or 6-speed manual as the fifth-age (MD) Elantra. The vehicle returned to the “Emphasize” name as utilized in the X3 series.[44] The hatchback adaptation, called Accent WIT, replaces the Getz/Click in South Korea. In Beijing, China, Hyundai delivered the China-selective rendition of this model under the “Verna” name on 23 August 2010.[45]

North America

In January 2011, the car had its North American presentation and the hatchback had its reality debut at the Montreal Auto Show.[46]

There is one motor choice in North America for the Accent, a 1.6 L with 138 hp (103 kW) and 123 lb/ft of force (2011 – 2017 models). This motor highlights the gas direct infusion innovation (1.6 “GDI”). Additionally, the head and square are made of aluminum.


Australia’s Accent was delivered in August 2011 of every three evaluations comprising of Active, Elite, and Premium in either Sedan or Hatch.[47] All were outfitted with a 1.6-liter MPi motor mated to a 5-speed manual or 4-speed programmed, while a 1.6-liter diesel was later added to the Active evaluation, yet dropped not long after. In 2013, a SR grade was added to supplant the Elite and Premium evaluations and acquired the Gamma 1.6-liter GDi motor to the range. The Active had changed to a 1.4-liter motor and discretionary CVT to minimize expenses because of the stopping of the i20 in Australia.

As a component of a 2017 redesign, Hyundai disentangled the Accent to only one evaluation called Sport. The Sport grade joined the SR’s 1.6-liter motor, Premium inside materials, work look grille, journey control, discretionary 6-speed programmed, and 16″ composite wheels while remaining nearby to the Active’s entrance price.[48]
